Long pile of Dung on a Saturday!

Well, I am still for the buy no lies program that I am administrating on myself but I just cant help it when I saw a copy of "THE STAR" lying on the table of a coffee shop and so... well I read it. "GUILTY AS CHARGED" But it has opened a further chapter in my ongoing BUY NO LIES crusade... It is going to last LONGER after all that I have read.

Lets see... glossing it over, I found the news on their online portal that I will now try to share with you guys. Ok la.. I share the 3 that I found most amusing... I must be fair right... one from MCA, one from my favourite boy Sam of MIC and another from the white haired penyapu man from UMNO...

Ong: Pakatan must deliver
GENTING HIGHLANDS: The Pakatan Rakyat state governments must fulfil what they have promised the people and not merely provide lip service, said MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting. He said the people could throw the Pakatan government out if they failed to deliver what they had pledged.

It is as if you have fulfilled your promises? Yes, the rakyat knows what to do.. thank you for the needless reminder. That is why we kicked MCA out... please la... Ah Ong.. rakyat not stooopit you know.

“If they can do it, then we will say it’s good. But if they are not able to accomplish what they have said, then they shouldn’t make any promises,” he said after attending the launch of the Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall here yesterday. Ong said the party was monitoring the speeches and promises made by the Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor state governments. “We are being very objective and open-minded. We hope that they can fulfil what they have promised and the most important thing is they all bring benefits to the people,” he said.

I have yet to see MCA doing anything that brings benefit to the people at large. At most I do see is MCA begging for this.. begging for that... all the while acknowledging that they are indeed "Second class". However, I must admit, PR still has a long way to go to prove itself and will have many issues along the way but insofar, I have a better feel good feeling. The barometer may change tho...

Ong said the Barisan Nasional component parties must move on positively and be open to criticism after the general election. “Barisan component parties must understand the people’s unhappiness and listen to their wishes, which will need to be given serious consideration. “We must be sensitive to the people’s wishes and the messages sent to us,” he said.

Oh... really??? Have yet to see any concrete desire from within BN to want to change. By the way, what messages have we sent to you... you seem to be talking in terms so vague that I can understand...

When asked for his comment on former party secretary-general Tan Sri Dr Ting Chew Peh’s statement in a Chinese daily, Ong said all MCA leaders were entitled to their personal views.
“Everyone has their right to express their views and I respect their opinions. I do not have to comment on every single view made,” he said.

Of course you got nothing to comment coz you have failed! If only something spoken was not right I am sure you will be foaming in your mouth with a shaolin sword in your hand....

On Thursday, Dr Ting said he felt ashamed for the party upon hearing the announcement by the Perak government to issue permanent land titles to all kampung tersusun (planned villages) and new villages in the state. Dr Ting said the Barisan government and MCA leaders, including himself, did not do enough for the community during their administration.

Meanwhile, MCA Youth chief Datuk Liow Tiong Lai, who was also present at the Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall launch, said the Barisan component parties must further enhance their cooperation and not only take care of their respective communities. “We can no longer (remain the status quo) where the MCA takes care of the Chinese community, the MIC for the Indians and Umno for Malays,” he said. Liow said the Barisan Youth must change and stop giving people the same impression that they were arrogant and did not listen to the views of other communities.

Errr... Mr. Liow.. isnt that a bit once too often used cliche? Say something new.... anyway.. tell that to your UMNO chums....

Samy going for his ‘last term’
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu will defend his presidency for the “last term” in the MIC party polls scheduled for March next year. “I will retire in 2012 (after the end of the three-year presidency). I have already said it before,” the 72-year-old told reporters after presenting UPSR revision books to headmasters and students of Tamil schools here yesterday.
He said he would also stick to his decision not to contest for any parliamentary seat in the next general election.

Gosh! He needs that long to cover his tracks and find a replacement that will not turn and bite the hand of the master that put him there! Bravo! You have learnt well my old padawan! You have endeavoured not to commit the same mistake your fellow bro.. Tun M did four years ago!! Actually we all know that you wanted to quit but you are waiting for your Tun"ship" and if that is not forthcoming... well... 30 years of dung will need a long time to cover up.

(In March, Samy Vellu said that the general election would be his last, and that he would concentrate on party work and return to his architectural work when he retires). Samy Vellu said that since he was not a minister, he had all the time to do party work. To a question, he said he would be happy if anyone contested for the top post.

“It will also give me a chance to see my strength in the party,” he said. Samy Vellu had led the party since taking over the presidency in 1979 following the death of Tan Sri V. Manickavasagam. He said the state MIC leadership would be revamped after their annual general meetings in May and June.

Samy Vellu said there was a need to overhaul the party leadership and machinery within the next two years and also recruit 200,000 young members. On a separate issue, he said he would seek a meeting with Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ismail to discuss the request for a 1.9ha piece of land for the construction of the SRJK Tamil Seaport in Selangor.

MIC has been in power for sooooo sooooo long. Why now only la you want to champion Tamil School project? Why why tell me why ah Sam? Before this you are more interested in building toll plaza here and there. Now only asking for land to build schools? Dei.. thamby.... you are "irrelevant"

“We have already drawn up the plans and a 0.46ha site has been allocated but supporters want a bigger site. Now it is up to the state government to give what their supporters are asking,” he said. On the statement by Selangor state executive councillor Dr Xavier Jeyakumar that he would resolve the problems of the temples in the state, Samy Vellu said: “It would be better if they can allocate land for the over 2,000 temples in the state.

Coming from Thamby Sam... I am not surprised.... now he wants 2000 temples? Probably during his tenure... 2,000 temples were destroyed? Is that it? Sam.. you had nearly 30 years!! 30 YEARS!!! to make something good for your fellow Indians... 30 years you screwed them! You had 30 years to build 2000 temples! Now you are asking Jeya to build 2000 temples? You really ahh... the skin face.. nuclear missile also cannot penetrate... DAMN THICK!

Khir: Police probe of land fraud in Selangor still on
By WANI MUTHIAH
SHAH ALAM: The previous state government had detected cases of land fraud in Selangor and reported them to the police, said former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo.
“Investigations were initiated and are still underway,” Dr Mohd Khir told a press conference at the Selangor Umno headquarters yesterday.

He said land-cheating cases existed in Selangor even before he became the state’s mentri besar eight years ago. “It is the work of an outside syndicate with links to insiders,” he said. Dr Mohd Khir urged the current state government to scrutinise all land registration data for more feedback on the land cheating cases.

I see... links to insiders... are you telling me, its DEFINITELY not you? well... I will read on...

He said the fraudulent acts could have happened during the transitional window period when manual data was tabulated into the respective land offices’ computer system and names could have been changed when this transition was taking place. “We hope the state government will be able to bring the culprits to book,” said Dr Mohd Khir, adding that several officers from the relevant agencies had been sacked for their involvement in land scams during his eight-year-tenure.

AHA!!! I can smell this coming... "Its not ME!!!" Actually I really wonder.. he was MB for 9 years.. and all the while he did not know this was happening but it only take less than 4 weeks for him outside the government to suddenly "REALIZE" that "SHIT! All these has been happening during my tenure but.. but.. I got no more authority to investigate..."

Can I conclude that the several sacked are not your cronies?

He stressed that no former exco members were involved in the scams. On another matter, Dr Mohd Khir said he would also declare his assets and hand over the information to the state secretariat. He added that children of exco members who were above the age of 21 should not be exempted from declaring their assets as well. “The declaration of assets should encompass all immediate relatives of office bearers,” he said.

Wow... you sure you want to do it? And if you do.. will you bet your life that its the truth, the whole truth?

The government of the day must deliver. Ong said the right thing. It is not that Pakatan cannot be blamed if they do wrong. Right?
