Malaysians.... be wise

The events that unfolded over the last couple of days doesn't sound good at all. After our DPM issued an apology, then came the idiot saying again he was "quoted out of context"... and instead of trying to "heal" the wounds he retaliated by calling for an apology by all those who has assaulted him verbally before.... hmmmm...

And in all that melee.. with MCA and Gerakan in the thick of action, I hope Malaysians will refrain from being drawn into this verbal joust where there would be no winners. The more the "squatters" trying to get him to apologize, the more he will "taunt" the squatters with his nonsense. The most important thing that this episode has taught us is that, that idiot is not a leader of Malaysians, he is a racist. A racist by any other skin is also a racist. So, when he claimed that the whole Umno up north supported his statement only goes to tell us that Umno is a party filled with many racists. These are the people that kept reminding us of May 13. These are the people who are eager to ensure another May 13 takes place. Malaysians, DO NOT LET THEM HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY!

DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY DEMONSTRATION!!!

The question is, "Do we want such people to run the country?" If the answer is "NO" then we must do something about it. Demonstrating to demand for apology is not the way.. let me repeat NOT the way. People, we are so near in making history, we are so near to take back our country after 51 years, lets not have this idiot with his cahoorts ruin it for us. Stay the course. We will deal with him in due time. People like him who plays racial and religious politics will not go far. They will have thier little enclave of support, but thats just about it. Then we let the long arm of the law deal with them.

But, what I do know is, whatever it is, we have already changed the direction of our future by virtue of our collective effort in March 08. Our duty now is to build on the change we have initiated.

BN has in the past, insulted our intelligence by telling us really tall tales.... the tales nowadays are laced with special effects.. so much so, people (majority of Malaysian Public that is.. as I do not wished to be labelled generalizing some people who are "hard core" BN apologists) puke at the tales that are shoved down our throats.... why? Because its of truly poor and tasteless quality.

Lately, their phobia of the Sept 16 takeover by Pakatan has spawned soooo many talks... most of them pooh pooh-ing the idea saying its just pipe dream.. while others go around gather "loyalty pledge". The upper echelon personnel would abuse the Special Branch to send officers to "spy" on the would be frogs... I guess this is as much as we man in the street see... probably the tip of the iceberg.. but since yesterday, in their earnest effort to scupple the Sept 16 time bomb.. they came up with an ingenious idea INDEED! Hey, lets pack these mofos off to a trip.. when we are there we shall show them the rewards at the end of the rainbow!

What would you pray for?

Our PM seems to be taunting us with the lowering of pump prices when he urge Malaysians to "pray" for lower fuel prices. HERE.

Speaking to reporters after chairing the finance council meeting in Putrajaya today, he said the government may review petrol prices again in October.

Yesterday, media reports quoted Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Shahrir Samad as saying that petrol prices may be reduced before the Hari Raya festival.

What do you expect from a person who "cakap tak serupa bikin?" October???? If he does that, then I will eat my shoe!! I will bet that it will be done by the end of this month before the balik kampung rush for Aidil Fitri!

In fact, I will take this a step further.... I will try to kill TWO BIRDS with one stone...

I WILL NOT PRAY FOR LOWER CRUDE OIL PRICES
BUT
I WILL PRAY for PAKATAN TO TAKE OVER THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

In that respect, we Malaysians can expect:

1. Immediate departure of sleepyhead at the helm of the country.
2. Immediate lowering of pump prices.

Well, when Anwar was due at the police station for his statement, the police sent in the whole calvary, fully clad and loaded into 20 police cars to "retrieve" him while he was on his way back home after a meeting with ACA, although he was not due to show up at the police station until 2.00pm. High drama ensued and the balaclava clad personnel arrested him before the agreed time.

“But he never turned up and the interview was rescheduled.

A visit by The Star to his house in Taman Robina in Butterworth showed that his luxury bungalow, complete with a swimming pool, had been torn down. Letters were left uncollected in the letterbox.

It is learnt that Ahmad and his family are now staying at a penthouse in a guarded condominium in Tanjong Tokong, pending the construction of his new bungalow.

Nevertheless, MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting yesterday was very grateful and reassured by Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s apology for Ahmad’s remarks calling the Chinese immigrants.

Ong said Najib’s apology showed that Umno did not concur with Ahmad, who had remarked that the Chinese could not expect to be treated equally as they were immigrants.

In other words, Ka Ting said, "He has to apologize but since our Boss apologizes, Thank you sir, for the apology. We accept and we also understand Umno is all good except for one BLOODY rotten apple that makes our life miserable. Thank you again, Sir."

Crude Oil Slump!

I do not know how they compute pump prices based on crude oil price but one thing I know our government will do.... is to make these kind of remarks...

Pump prices to stay until end of the month.

Likewise the same statement was made last month but our dear PM relented and announced a pitiful 15sen reduction in pump prices from RM2.70 per liter to RM2.55 per liter on 21st Aug 2008 just a few days short of polling date for the Permatang Pauh by-election.

Yesterday, when news of Hurricane Gustav blew past and missed all the oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico, Nymex slump to about USD105 per barrel. It settled at about USD109 per barrel. When the announcement of reduction was made it was hovering at about USD115 per barrel but it spiked briefly to USD121 per barrel albeit just for one day. Hold your horses for a big reduction even at end of next month guys.... as USD is staging a strong rally and our RM has slumped against all currencies, the USD included... more "impressively" is how it fared against the Renminbi. Sigh... we are getting poorer by the day!

Now, back to the pump prices... going by the logic if crude stays at USD110 per barrel, we should be "accorded" another 15sen reduction? Pittance if you ask me...

So, with no more by-elections coming, I think one can safely bet, if there is any reduction in pump prices at all, it will be a couple of days before Raya.... they will have to ensure the masses balik kampung on a cheaper tank... otherwise, they can expect another 10% swing in popularity the other way round leaving them with probably 20% of the populace behind them....

Moreover, why should Najib apologize? He did not make the remark... but what he did make in 1987 was that he wanted to bathe Chinese blood with his unsheathed keris.... he has yet to apologize.

UMNO apologize.... that's something very new. They never apologized. They were always misquoted. Why apologize now? Anyway, thank you. But, the apologies would be best to come from the miscreant himself. By the way he is also now implicated in a land scam in Penang now. He has more to answer than to just apologize.

The Penang Development Corporation is lodging police and Anti-Corruption Agency reports against a now-defunct company, of which Umno Bukit Bendera division head Datuk Ahmad Ismail was a director, over its failure to return some RM500,000 to the state after a failed land deal.

Chief minister Lim Guan Eng said he has directed the PDC to make the reports tomorrow (Sept 3) after his administration found that Popular Profile Sdn Bhd (PPSB) had wrongfully taken and kept the money from the state in 1998. PPSB wound up in 2005.
