How Much Longer?

How much longer should we as tax paying Malaysians swallow the garbage dished out by this bald headed bugger?
Firstly he defended the ban on Malaysia Today... which by now he would realize that MCMC is helpless in stopping people from accessing MT as RPK reacted faster than they can finish writing the word BAN. Similarly with other websites. They should realize that their efforts are foolhardy and that they are wasting precious tax payers money to undertake such actions.

Based on what he said, it would seem that they can take no other legal action against the pepetrator except to stop people from visiting that website.

Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar said today that the prominent news portal Malaysia Today had been banned because it published "libelous, defamatory and slanderous" content.

MCPX
"I think we don't intend to curtail people's freedom and right to give information and debate," Syed Hamid told reporters.

"But when you publish content that is libelous, defamatory and slanderous to other people I think it is only natural we take action," he said.

He defended blocking access to Malaysia Today that has attacked top leaders, saying it had ignored warnings against publishing "slanderous" articles.

"So many warnings and opportunities have been given and it is not heeded, so I am sure they have exercised their authority well under the law."

If banning is not curtailing then what is? If you feel its libelous, defamatory and slanderous, sue him. Why don't you?

Now comes the second boo boo from the same bald headed fler...

DNA BILL

Opposition members led by Anwar walked out when bald head refused to answer to P. Sivarasa's "goodwill request."

Earlier, in his 75-minute winding-up speech, Syed Hamid said he would take note of all the suggestions made by the MPs in their debates, look at the existing provisions, make the necessary amendments and bring them up at the committee level later.

However, as soon as he completed his speech, R. Sivarasa (PKR-Subang) stood up to ask him whether he would agree that a special select committee be set up to review the Bill.

Syed Hamid did not respond despite much persuasion from opposition MPs like Mahfuz Omar (PAS-Pokok Sena), Tian Chua (PKR-Batu), Azmin Ali (PKR-Gombak), Lim Kit Siang (DAP-Ipoh Timur) and Fuziah Salleh (PKR-Kuantan).

The bill was subsequently passed and will go through another round of debate and winding up at committee. The contention here was to table it at a select committee which bald head refused to answer.... why the fear? Fear that your own will oppose to the bill at committee stage?
